people hv been talking abt since the song was written in and with a wrong intention..
hence, we shouldnt be singing this kinda songs in church.. i want to know what you guys think abt it?!?
just for your info.. the song writter faked his cancer when he wrote this song.. for “whatever reason” but somehow the church allowed the song to be in the album.. hence, people are saying the church is not in tune with God, and allowing anyone to bring in any songs..
but, fact, many people has been touched by this song.. lives been changed!
1, Has God changed something bad to good?
2, did God purposely allow a song with this kinda intentions to be published?
3, how am i to know what kind of songs to listen to!?
4, is it safe to sing this kind of songs in our church?!?!
i am confused, please help!
is it true that what we sing from our heart.. matters or the lies in the song is more powerfull than what i mean.. from my heart..
Honestly, yes it is true that the author wrote it under the circumstance of deceit and lies. – the ‘tragedy’ and the deception that was alleged about his cancer. But, I would like to ask, what makes you guys think that its not okay to sing this song in church?
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, think about it this way. Deception, lies and sin are no match for the power of the Holy Spirit at Work in the hearts of His people. When we worship in spirit & truth, when we give our ALL to God in worship, He is actually looking into our heart. He is not judging us based on the sin of the author. His Spirit & His Truth dwells in us, every time we worship. And when that happens, there’s no room for dissention or lies.
One more thing is, GRACE. Guys, this is exactly what grace means. This is what the world can never understand. Something that’s indeed born out of a lie, God picks it up and raises it up most high and uses it mightily. Undeserved and unearned. Yet, many spirits are stirred during the worship session, when this song was sung.

The message about the cross doesn’t make any sense to lost people. But for those of us who are being saved, it is God’s power at work.
But God chose the foolish things of this world to put the wise to shame. He chose the weak things of this world to put the powerful to shame.
What the world thinks is worthless, useless, and nothing at all is what God has used to destroy what the world considers important.
It was worthless, useless and nothing at all. Ready to thrown away. But look at what God did. He raised the song and used it and will use it to restore many people. And I know my Father, He will also comfort, accept and restore the writer. And that is undeserved, unearned and unmerited grace. It is the person of Jesus Christ and His finished work.
Next, dear brothers and sisters, sin is Sin, even as a Christian, none of us are perfect, now would be a PERFECT time to refer to scripture and put into practice why we believe in our Father and salvation. “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment that you pronounce you will be judged”.
What he made was a mistake, i know, thousands get committed, but the song and its powers are REAL. Regardless of the pretence, and lies in it. Humans are capable of so much wrong and right in every level. The devil is rife in every avenue of life, where there is now discord between what you originally thought and believed, let it be filled with LOVE. Actually, being mad, angry, insolvent, will not provide a solution.. But God is Healer!!
Remember that only God is perfect.

I agree la apa lagi!! heh.. the chorus goes.. “i believe, your my healer.. i belive that you are all i need..” its true.. n i would love to sing it!! with LOVE to my God! be blessed guys!
