hi guys,
well, i was just hit by a question on this blog abt whether “taylor swift’s change” is a christian song..
i think by my understanding, that it can be and also can be a pop song.. or what ever you want it to be.

Alot of artist nowadays know the importance in living in our Lord Jesus Christ.. and because of thier profession, in the recording labels and companies, they are not fortunate to write worship songs like for example -planet shakers, hillsongs.. ect ect..
we must ALWAYS remember.. that everyone is put where they are by the PERFECT planning of OUR God.

So, now, as it is written, we should always give glory to God in all that we do.. hence, these artist also would want to do the same.

We’ll be abit surprised that we do have extremist in our daily church life that have the mentality that if you are in the entertainment world, you are a sinner! which is WRONG!!! yes, the argument is, “you cant be in the world and follow God. ” but then my question is, who gave you this tallent??? who allowed the opportunity to arise in your way.. who allowed you to be so famous??? -another argument may arise when they say.. “who allowed mettalica to be so famous… but that is a totally diffrent topic.. i believe all music comes from God! coz He is the creator and whatever is done with music, that person shall be held accountable for his tallents..” ok ok.. getting back to our topic..

I read a blog from the lead singer of “the fray” which has also the same kind of music like lifehouse and ect… he said, now, my profesion is a singer, i would love to do my job but that doesnt mean i cant sing about love n life’s troubles.. he gave an example of a plumber… is a plumber going to fix the plumbing in christian peoples houses only or for everyones houses..?? same goes for a singer or a band.

Hence, as we open our minds n see the bigger picture.. we wont be so blinded.. these bands like “lifehouse, the fray, switchfoot, taylor swift, carrie underwood, keith urban, rascall flatts ect.. ” are seeing the big picture.. yes they are planted in the music world, but as you can see in thier dressings, in the way the carry them selves, and the lyrics they write, they also are glorifying God..

So, the question, is it a christian song???? i’d say hmm, depends on how you wanan look at it… if i were to read those lyrics just like dat, i’d say yes it is.. is it singing about JESUS?? maybe… if you wana sing it to jesus, no problem.. im sure he’d enjoy it..

Just for your info, the song by lifehouse-everything…is also sang in churches.. so, once again, it depends on how u wana see it.

A word of encouragement to others, if people say, that song is not a c’tian song, you say.. well, up to you.. but i’d like to see it as one. and you’ll find music spicing up your life in so many ways.

hi guys, its been somewhile since i’ve sent something.. mainly due to work related “bussyness.. ” if that is even a word.. lol.. but yeah, just writting something up for fun.. so, last week, pastor Monica prayed for all of us, n also prayed for a new youth pastor to lead us all.. n i was very touched.. it was a great prayer meeting we had.. pastor even anointed us with oil n blessed us..

im happy to hv known most of you, n honestly, coming to this church has brought me out of the “all c’tians are perfect humans mentality.. ” lol.. but yeah, its been real intersting being here.. i just want to ask all of you guys to please suggest to me atleast what should we do abt trying to meet up for meetings..

honestly guys, i understand.. having another meeting on sunday is just not happening la.. we’ve just finish a full meeting with one hour plus of worship, n sermon and all.. n we are all tired.. the worship team is tired too.. then we have to go up, practice another song before de youth meeting starts.. no time to eat n fellowship.. honestly, how many people wants to come back upstairs after half an hour n start again with another sermon and all.. how many parents would just stay back for the sake of the youth staying for a youth meeting..??

the fact is, we’re just to tired for another meeting.. hence the turn up is not always great.. pls guys, i just want to help Noel out, what do we do?! what can we all do?! i was thinking we have a meeting on another day.. just for de youth meeting.. we’ll be more wanting, n expecting.. ice breakers aint gona be fun if the same people are gona come up with games..

so shoot at me guys.. tell me yes or no.. what do you want.. where do you want.. coz the youth doesnt belong to just a bunch of people.. its all of us!! all of you!!! we can change this guys.. we can hv RnB nights or Rock nights or wat.. it can be like a party.. dress up n come.. stuffs like that..

people hv been talking abt since the song was written in and with a wrong intention..
hence, we shouldnt be singing this kinda songs in church.. i want to know what you guys think abt it?!?

just for your info.. the song writter faked his cancer when he wrote this song.. for “whatever reason” but somehow the church allowed the song to be in the album.. hence, people are saying the church is not in tune with God, and allowing anyone to bring in any songs..

but, fact, many people has been touched by this song.. lives been changed!

1, Has God changed something bad to good?
2, did God purposely allow a song with this kinda intentions to be published?
3, how am i to know what kind of songs to listen to!?
4, is it safe to sing this kind of songs in our church?!?!

i am confused, please help!

Sally said, ‘Why do little children get cancer? Doesn’t God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?’

The surgeon asked, ‘Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he’s transported to the university.’ Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. ‘Would you like a lock of his hair?’ the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy’s hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

The mother said, ‘It was Jimmy’s idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else….. ‘I said no at first, but Jimmy said, ‘Mom, I won’t be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom..’ She went on, ‘My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could..’

Sally walked out of Children’s Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy’s belongings on the seat beside her in the car.

But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn’t like the same things us boys do. You’ll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.

Don’t be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn’t look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God’s knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That’s when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn’t allowed.

Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own perso nal pen to write you this letter I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him ‘where was He when I needed him?’ ‘

God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I’ve written except you… To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn’t that cool? I have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I’m sure the food will be great.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don’t hurt anymore the cancer is all gone.. I’m glad because I couldn’t stand that pain anymore and God couldn’t stand to see me hurt so much, either. That’s when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

yes.. it is easy for us to say it.. but will we?? honestly, ill find it hard.. i thank God that my friends are nice people from that faith.. but when i saw some of them on FB joining groups that are pro-fighting groups.. it tore my heart.. so nice people.. were spoiled.. destroyed!
